While things have been a bit hectic and have caused some of our scheduled events to be postponed, we have been trying our best to remain active in these trying times.

After some consideration and talking things over with the other mods, we’ve decided to hold a... different kind of adoption event.

These characters are those who have been cycled back into the possession of the mods and are up for adoption.

Characters are first come, first serve and as always, completely free.

Mayhem is a rare example of a “tame” Ophiuscite. They’re still incredibly rude and a bit violent at times, but they don’t actively seek out people to infect. They’re content to just stay with their family.

To make up for lost time, three new beings have appeared at once!

Diamond Dream: A kind, yet shy Andromixie who, according to Andromeda, seems to be the guardian of a planet made of diamonds. With scales comprised of a shimmering material, she glimmers brightly in any lighting, casting a pale glow over her surroundings, which is said to calm any worries. She’s landed on Arizel’s planet, though she hopes she hasn’t missed any festivities!

Ice Gem: From forager to fame, former gardener Ice Gem became a household name and a local hero as she became the first Respie-Ryubliss hybrid  to join the Stellar Glacier skating team. She won’t let her cold blooded nature keep her off the ice; unlike most Respies of pure blood, Gem is enamored with the frigid climate that seems typical of her hometown of Glint Reaches, a quiet village nestled between snowcapped mountains and icy valleys. She’s visiting Notion Knoll to try out some wintery delights and the famous local cuisine!

Borealis: A being thought to have originated from an Ophiuscite of unknown breed. This creature is the result of a fusion between four dying stars, represented by the ink bleeding from its chest. It cannot see from its main eyes, so it reaches out with tendrils of colorful darkness, searching for something.... no one is quite sure what it wants from the Ryubliss of Arizel...

Apologies for the wait, dreamers! To make up for it, here are two characters in one day!

Pine Mints:

An easily startled Ophiuscite of the Virgo breed, Pine once possessed a cat and ended up accidentally assimilating its soul entirely. He took on some of its demeanor, becoming slightly less aggressive, yet territorial, paranoid, and anxious. Despite his species, he only wants to find a good book and a place to nap or have a snack. He carries around packs of mint candy, hence his nickname, and was drawn to this festival by the promise of lots of sweets! Hopefully he can stand the crowds...

Nougat Candy:

A rare Capricorn breed Ophiuscite, Nougat Candy was once the pet of a wealthy family of alien beings. In her days as a mindless parasite, was trained to possess different exotic creatures to entertain guests and to maintain her trademark “cute” look. However, the more she possessed, the more sentience she developed, and she eventually escaped, finding her way to Arizel by latching onto a Yume Mouse. She hasn’t possessed a single being since, choosing to retain her current personality and lifestyle as a small-time food thief. It’s no wonder she showed up for the Banquet!

Basil + Garnish: What does one get when they cross a Respie cursed into a Yume form... and a grumpy Ophiuscite? Chaos. A chaotic fusion is what you get. This emotional duo has traveled all the way to Arizel in hopes of finding peace at the festival, though they can’t seem to get along, even with such close proximity to the source of good dreams...

A La Mode: A shockingly friendly Yume Mouse (of the bunny variety) who gets almost all of her sugar from fruit and milk. She loves tapioca tea, sweet cream, apples, and honey, though she’ll gladly help out when making any kind of dessert. She’s terrified of monsters, violence, and the dark, and she’ll cling to the nearest Ryubliss or Respie for comfort, not their lifeblood!

At last, the Banquet of Magic has come to an end... friends have come and gone, and the festivities are slowing down as everyone heads home to rest...

But first...

Two final friends have appeared to bring about the greeting to winter!

Snow Angel: A gentle and friendly Gemini breed Ophiuscite who managed to maintain a mostly solid form. More of a teddy bear than a cat demon, she aims to make friends and have fun. Her other half has the unique ability to change her appearance depending on what materials she absorbs, currently taking on a decorative tree appearance for the holidays!

Thistle: Snow Angel’s other half as a Gemini Ophiuscite. She possesses the ability to alter her form drastically based on what she absorbs using the colorful bulbs on her body. The bulbs can manifest as lights, eyes, or any other form, even flowers!
