Television After Dark! This is a promotional still from an old variety show I hosted way way back. I was famous for my garish dinner jackets and blazers, a different one every night. We were on so late it was early in the morning, very innovative, technically advanced show for insomniacs back then. We had some great guests! Mr Sandman, the Old North Wind Trio, and an early girl combo The Deadly Nightshades. One of our experimental innovations caused the series to be taken off the air - we had figured out a way - even back then - to remotely turn on your tv in the middle of the night - even while you were asleep in bed. Totally expanded our demo. A big chunk of the audiences never knew they were watching. It was mesmerizing.
