So this weekend was the first weekend of yoga training for me and it was amazing! It's amazing what will surface if you journal right after a yoga practice or activity. For me, the one thing that came up over and over in one practice is that I used to be a runner. It came out of nowhere too. I was like 'huh????' This caught me way off guard , but I know it needed to come up 💁🏾 .... but I digress I used to run from uncomfortable situations... noticed I said used to. I had to own this truth ...then start to process it ... and own my truth. I had to figure out what was inside me and draw it out.... had to do some soul searching. Being in an uncomfortable situation for me used to mean it was time to escape to the next place or thing ... time to move on.... It was this weekend that I realized I was never grounded.... I never firmly planted my feet somewhere... this is why I was a runner. I never would allow my feet to feel stability 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'll have to see what else comes out of the experience from this past weekend.... for right now I'll continue to ponder what it means to be grounded.... to be truly planted 💭 #balancingacts #ownyourtruth #dealwithit #dealwithyourtruth #vibratehigher #positivevibes #livelovelearn #process #ownyouremotions #openyourselfup
