I feel as though I've had nothing but bad news lately. Over the past two days, we have lost two more kittens from our Constellation litter. Sweet Mira passed on Friday. She was the smaller of the two Calico kittens and the 2nd smallest of the litter. Little Miss Vela, the smallest of the little, passed away this morning. Of all of the kittens, she was the toughest and fought see very hard but in the end she just tuckered out. Brian and I tried very hard to help Lakshmi keep her babies but she knew better than to fight Mother Nature. While we are carrying heavy hearts, we know that we cannot stop fostering because there are so many more mothers and babies need our help. To all of you out there who are doing their part to help the unwanted animals, Brian and I appreciate your efforts, your selflessness and your huge hearts. Those of you that are animal lovers, please help out your local fosters, rescue organizations and shelter.
