Crossfit Games Open 14.1
One Month of Crossfit. 14.1 Score of 90. Couldn't be happier and more motivated!
I started 1 month ago and immediately signed up for the Open. I was disheartened last night with the announcement of Double Unders as I haven't worked on these at all yet.
I showed up this morning, warmed up and got through the DU's one at a time having to start over after each double under. I connected 2 every now and then and ultimately got a score of 90 tearing through the last 15 Snatches in 40 seconds. I wouldn't have come close without the rest of my class cheering me on. I knew the score was extremely low compared to just about anyone but I felt like I had just won the Games.
Looking forward to working on my DU's and improving.
Don't let something discourage you if you think you can't do it. I learned new things about myself today and the DU's. I know I'll have them soon!
