Oh nooooo I am having so many emotions. The last time I was on the east coast I stayed with them and it was glorious and I haven't seen them since, and this is beautiful. Also I really must watch this show.
oooh, :D I didnāt know they were your friends! Ā (I donāt really know them as such, I was only at the one con with them but I recorded their set and listen to it FOREVER, so... I def felt they were awesome there, though!) Ā (Small world!)

Also lol Iām trying not to be obnoxious about it but Iām so in love with this show I want eeeeeveryone to watch it with me and come join me in the 100 fandom which idk if Iām even going to join because idk what itās actually like because Iām not investigating till I catch up with canon because sp0ilers but... I just love falling in love with stories, ykwim, that stage of a possible fandom when itās all shiny and amazing is just so much fun and Iām so enjoying being in it again.
And the show! Ā Is about some people up on a space station and more people who were sent down from it and are trying to survive on Earth - a lot, a lotĀ of it is about fighting for survival, really - and it stars several really awesome and complicated girls (.... and some complicated guys too who Iām less attached to #sryall) and the main character is bi, btw! Ā Which isnāt obvious in the first season but knowing itās what got meĀ to start watching lol so itās totally a selling point. Ā And it is the sort of show where people can die - again, ~fighting for survival~ - which isĀ def not for everyone - but I love how hard everyone works in it, (especially past the first couple/few eps), how the relationship dramas take a back seat to the hard work of everyone staying alive both short- and long-term which makes them that much more involving to me, and, um.
I watched it because mockanddee kept tagging gifsets of these two girls with #warrior queens. Ā And they kissed. Ā And also one of them with another girl (although they sadly have not kissed) as #princess mechanic. Ā And if all that sounds intriguing to you... you should definitely check it out, you will not be disappointed! Ā (Or at least I have not been lol. Ā I suppose tastes do differ.) Ā (Oh, and also, if you do try watching, stick it out through at least the end of the third ep - the first couple are shaky but it gets better quickly.)

They were supposed to be in the Ark for 100 years, but at the start of season one, it's only been 97... I think?
But that doesnāt make any sense, because the way they were talking about going back to Earth it was supposed to be something that this generation (of adults/deciders at least) wouldnāt see? Ā I am pretty sure. Ā Maybe they were in the Ark for 100 years, or approximately, but my impression was that they were only maybe midway through their planned journey - the Earth wasnāt supposed to be anywhere *near* inhabitable, they were supposed to have lots of time to build whole new spaceships, etc.

Hey! I've been meaning to ask this and keep forgetting, but at the end of chapter 27, Simple Gifts, in Fidelity, you mention an example of a book similar to the one Blaine gives Kurt... however, the link doesn't appear to work (at least for me). Do you still have the link to what that's supposed to go to? I'd love to see it!

That's exactly what it is - I think you replied just as I posted a picture confirming. I bet Kurt buys them very occasionally for special occasions, then replaces them when the labels peel off (because the label in the screengrab I could get looked pretty pristine).Ā

the ones we have at my apartment arenāt blue (theyāre like this: bit.ly/1hF9c1G), but we do use them to keep tap water cold in the fridge. a lot of my friends here do the same with similar bottles, and itās how most NYC restaurants serve water.
I have one that looks like that! But the ones on Glee have screwtops rather than the stopper (suggesting they were originally sealed) and you can sometimes see a brand label around the neck? Which is why I was curious if it was a specific brand.Ā
