#ooooh yeah!

So I got over my fangirlism a bit, here is a longer review XD

Careful: spoilers. And, of course, this is merely my personal opinion.

As stated earlier, I was really afraid about this movie, being a huge Batman fan while not having liked "Man of Steel" at all. I was certain the character would be spoiled.

I couldn't have been more wrong.

About Superman, I stand by my point: it feels like they really don't know how to handle him. He gives a flat, boring feeling, when he isn't over the top. Lois could have broken that pattern, but she was stuck in a damsel in distress role instead than being a motor of change for Clark.

The movie itself could have been better: too many dream scenes, fractured by moments, over-dramatic at others. Many things I didn't like in the trailer turned up pretty well in the whole story though so I'm not complaining.

And then, Ben Affleck was just GOLD in Batman, he totally nailed the role. His parts were really good, with of course Jeremy Irons making a great Alfred. Their dialogs are just perfect.

I have to say, the scene when Bruce and Clark meet is excellent as well; the dynamic between the two get something out of Clark's characterization that the rest of the movie doesn't quite manage to archive.

As for the other characters; Diana's introduction was great, especially before Bruce (and most of the audience) realized who she was. Her interactions with Bruce were really great, which makes me hope for a strong Trinity despite the way they handle Clark.

The hint at other characters from the soon-to-come Justice League was interesting though a bit forced. I can’t wait to see more!

I'm still wondering about Lex Luthor. He really annoyed the hell out of me during the whole movie, but maybe that was the point. Also, he still was a brilliant genius so there's that.

I would have liked to see more of Mercy; but I have to say I was glad she was around at all.

I also liked to recognize events and references from various comics <3
