I honestly cannot expect a response, but!! I am searching out anyone interested in an RP involving the old as ass ScFi book series, Lilith's Brood (Dawn, Adulthood Rights, and Imago) by Octavia E. Butler! If interested, please be well over 21 (I am 31!!!) and primarily in search of world building, long term character growth rather explicit or sex driven plots!
OCs are fairly obviously welcome since it's got such massive world building elements. In total, I'm just enraptured by the entirety of the society, the deep alien culture of the Oankali, the vast dangers, the building of family, and most of all the Oankali and everything about them. They and the Constructs are pretty thoroughly fascinating to me, and I am looking to write them mostly, to be honest.
Anyways, just let me know! If you haven't read the series, there's about a dozen free PDFs out on the web, it goes for a very interesting read!
As it is I'm a pretty advanced/age old RPer and fanfic writer, big fan generally of long term and plenty of writing per response, but prefer quality over quantity if that's more your style. I will be pretty darn nitpicky about the world of the Oankali and the already established and in depth facts related to their species tbh, but if you’d prefer me to RP them generally, I have no problem doing so! Really half the reason I'm here is because I'd love to keep digging into this series and having difficulty that it's only got the trilogy. Also obviously queer representation and otherwise is more than welcome, we can figure out a way to play it into the series at large, and it could be fun to play with.
