Well.....this is for my #TenYearChallenge - - - - - I'm heavier than I was and I hate that that's the first thing I see. I look happy in the first picture, probably because I was a teenager and I thought I was the shit. - - But I know I was in a lot of pain back then. I was suicidal and I hated the person I had become. I've recently realized (ie in the last month or two) that I was always waiting for things to happen and to get better. I thought I wasn't ready to change my life until ______ happened (whatever hurdle at the time). I thought I had to stuff my feelings down and handle everything by myself and be useful. Absolutely be useful and smart, never weak. I was already "weak" enough. - - - - I'm not where I want to be but I am the happiest I've ever been. I'm able to love more deeply and be compassionate toward others. I have a beautiful little family that I treasure.
