This is my first piece back into digital art! I was watching the @onsta and @dilfosaur Miitopia streams on twitch and had the idea to draw the character Rosé from Drawtectives (a show by @drawfee ) in a masquerade/formal party fit. With a steam train/wild train theme because I had to. And practically/fashionably hidden daggers because I feel like Rosé would. Honestly half the time doing this was figuring out a rendering style I wanted to do since it’s been so long since I’ve touched digital art. Finally landed on this though and I’m pretty happy with it.
Can anyone explain to me why the quality of the image looks worse in the post but better/correct if you click on the image? And if there’s a way to fix that because boy it’s annoying.
Time lapse is under the cut! It starts with me inking over the sketch I did physically in a sketchbook, because I still need something to do while bored at work and honestly I’ve always preferred doing sketches traditionally over virtually.
