Short Synopsis:Â
There is the whole strand (West Coast) of the abstract movement that fell/wasn't as favorable as the line drawings of/predominant in (East Coast) the movement underway in New York City.
Onslow was an independent thinker/creative. Â He believed the fourth dimension was consciousness itself, which was always evolving. Â He was also among Abstract artists who aligned more with Jung, the majority who aligned with Freud. Â Also, you had Einstein's 4th dimension theory as Time itself.
This is the kind of meaty context that Integral Theory loves to discuss.  Perhaps in further inquiry, I can create a dialogue uniting the differing understandings of the 4th dimension, and also the Freudian/Jungian debate.
As time permits, I hope to write a bit of an introduction.
