Last week, I finished "Francis Bacon Revelations" by Mark Stevens and Annalyn Swan. This 800 page tome is probably the best artist bio I've read. Not only do you get a feel for the man and his life but it really gave an in depth look at London and history during his lifetime. Really well written and comprehensive.
