Goodbye, 35 — and hello, 36.
It may feel like just another day, but I’m taking a moment to thank God and Jesus Christ for blessing me with another year on this earth — and hopefully many more to come.
I’m far from perfect, but to the people who truly matter, I’m enough. I make mistakes, I learn, I grow. I help others without expecting anything in return, and I love even when it’s hard. And in God’s eyes, I believe that makes me a pretty solid man — a decent son with a good heart.
So today, I say Happy Birthday to me.
More than that — thank You, God, for creating in me the strength to rise every time I fall. For making me a man who loves deeply, who gives his all as a father and a son. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve lost a lot — but I’ve also picked myself back up, stronger each time. The top I once saw was just the first of many mountains to climb.
Let’s go, 36 — this is only the beginning of a life that’s going to be unforgettable.
To everyone in my life — thank you. I love you all. Family or not, if you’re in my life, you are family. Now let’s go take on the world.
