my own girlfriend could move on and date someone in her own city, not have to deal with the paperwork bs we are gonna have to deal with when we gather enough funds for me to move to Canada, and therefore have comfort and someone to hold her within arms reach. She could, theorically, get someone who can satisfy her needs easier and make her happy physically.

She doesn’t want to, though, because it’s me she’s interested in. We talk late into the night, we discuss about furniture, the future, code, new games, etc together. We have our disagreements and fix it. It’s not the best she could have, but it’s what she wants to have.
