onhigh pulled the ace of hearts for a starter!!
shots at the club was definitely not the FIRST idea that husk had for the evening, but he wasn't going to say no to a good drink. it did take some convincing, though, since husk was more of a quiet piano bar and casino type of guy before he was a strobe lights and raves man.
but six shots deep and a couple of scotch on the rocks? whoooo, boy. sounds like the dance floor was calling his name. a little too late, though, since it's getting close to the end of the night.
they're playing their final song to wind it on down: piano man, billy joel. his scotch is in one hand and he's swaying to the beat, drips of liquor flinging as he rocks side to side to the chorus.
"sing us a song, you're the piano man..." his slurred words reek of liquor, and his stomach aches. but he's having a good time for the first time in a while. it's obvious he thinks he's the only one in the room, but he knows his friends are near.
"we're all in the mood for a melody..." he opens his eyes, seeing angel in his gaze.
"y'know the words, kid?" he begins to giggle a bit, scotch finally coming over him as he takes the final swig of his glass.
"it's a good one." he motions in the air for another shot, but no wait staff is paying attention to the request.
