Hello! We spotted this little guy on holiday, in England
Please will you tell me what frog it is?
This is a wee toadlet, Bufo bufo, but I think it probably lives there and wasn't on holiday at all.

You answered a post about how being aroace affected you and you said a lot of people just thought you were gay - Iβm aroace and my grandparents actively think I am gay, to the point where they expected me to come out as gay on christmas??? Like literally they went βyou know we will always accept you for who you areβ and everyone looked at me! Like Iβm happy they arenβt homophobic but still
YE I absolutely get the feeling
Like- When you're faced with acceptance and no homophobia (when there's always legitimate reasons to fear you'll face homophobia if people think you're gay)? Honestly, awesome!! It's such a relief when it happens like that. So grateful.
...Buuuut also it's not 100% that? And I always have that underlying icky feeling that maybe some people are just "happy I'm gay" because it's "better than being broken and alone" or something. Which... Unfortunately kinda goes against the point too.
(...On a positive note on this, I was afraid my mother was one of these people, but then later down the line she started asking questions about how my relationship with my queerplatonic partner works if there's no sex involved, and what makes me vibe with them so much, and was pretty open to whatever I had to say β and I cherish that. She seemed afraid of asking questions because she knew so little about all of that she was worried of being out of place, but I appreciate that so much more than projecting, honestly TwT And I guess it goes to show sometimes the icky feeling is thankfully all in my head.)
Trick or treat!
happy halloween!!!

When I was in 2nd grade, I won a school coloring contest by coloring my cow pink and purple instead of "normal." I got a box of Jolly Rancher hard candies and most of my elementary school was upset with me.
I actually dislike a lot of "normal American" foods. I've never enjoyed McDonalds and don't even like homemade burgers. I find hot dogs to be gross. I used to like Taco Bell until my family went there too often. As much as I like food, I'm actually quite picky.
My memory works really well for the weirdest things. If I meet a person, it's highly likely that I'll remember little details and all of our past conversations. It's the opposite with people online, though. I have a difficult time differentiating and remembering names or profiles.
I've never had a lot of real friends growing up. This is probably what caused me to daydream up all my OCs. It's also what led me back to public school, which is where I gained internet access. If I hadn't gone back at that time, I wouldn't know what to do with all these stories.
When I was in 8th grade, during the pandemic, I only listened to nightcore or Lego Ninjago edits of songs. It wasn't until the one edit to my favorite song was taken down that I actually started watching the official music on YouTube.

How do you have such good taste in really cool stuff?
If by that you mean how do I find all of the best dragon art and cute animals then years of long practice, naturally. That and my tumblr dash has been helpful. I'm very flattered, thank you!
