Fingers gripped the flask, an eyebrow raising at the jock.  ❝   CHEAP vodka? And here I thought you might have better tastes, Zach. It does make a difference, you know.   ❞  But a drink was a drink.      She had watched him. If there was anything Hannah Baker enjoyed doing during parties, it was people-watching, rather than indulging too much on alcoholic beverages. ouch.     there’s something inappropriately funny when it comes to the pain of others   -   especially when they do something stupid to make it happen.    jeff bites back the bubbles of laughter in his chest,    pursing lips together in extra effort.    “fuck,   dude.     that’s gonna hurt in the morning.”   his own statement makes him cringe as he gazes at the fallen form of a newbie on the baseball team.     the guy caught the ball perfectly   -   if you considered getting hit upside the head with it flawless.     seconds later,    he had collapsed to ground.
