Request: may I request a Todoroki x reader where the reader quirk is similar to Scarlet Witch's powers from Marvel. Anything she could do the reader could. But having this quirk, people were slightly afraid of the reader and what her quirk is capable of and she has hard time control it due to being experiment on her whole life .Maybe she loses control of her powers todoroki helps her snap out of it and there for her I hope this makes sense

You were one of the reasons that All Might had fought so hard against All For One, he was supposed to be distracting the villain so that the others could rescue the little girl that they had managed to locate. They had been told that he was keeping a young girl, they didn’t know why but they figured that it couldn’t have been for a good reason. They had managed to rescue you thanks to All Might sacrifice but there was a lot of work to be done.

All For One was basically using you as a test subject, your quirk harnessed energy around you and used it to create whatever you wanted, All For One seemed to have been trying to figure something out and in the process has severed your control over your quirk, in any situation that caused heightened emotion yout power would take on a life of it’s own in an last stitch attempt to protect you. Aizawa had been the one on most occasions to nullify the quirk and you on many occasions he and Hizashi had been the ones to help you get used to different stimuli.

In five years normal sound and stimuli were easier for you to deal with and while not many people were for the idea, you were enrolled at UA to help with your social skills and to show that you can be a hero with the power that you had. With Aizawa there the risk was minimized and with All Might and Hizashi around there were people that you could trust if you needed time away from the rowdy kids that you were now going to be calling your classmates.

The first day you observed everyone, most of them were easy to read and you knew the people that you were going to be able to handle and who you weren’t. You were in the back corner of you using your ability to move the pen laying on your desk, you hadn’t even noticed the kid across from you looking but he was fascinated. You later found out that his name was Todoroki and without even knowing it you gravitate to each other, he was neutral to most things, no overreaction or expectation for you he was easy to be around before long he was the only person you’d speak more than 1 word to and you were the same for him.

For the next week's people saw glimpses of your power and the smarter of them knew that you were powerful and by extension dangerous but the first time that anyone saw your power was when Shigaraki broke into the USJ “There’s the little flare.” He sneered as he pointed towards you “Nomu grab her.” before anyone knew what happened the large creature behind you picking you up in one hand, you panicked. Aizawa attempted to get to you but the creature moved too quickly, he was back in the centre of all of the villains before he could really make a move. “Do you remember what happens if I put this collar on you?” Shigaraki wasn’t close enough to you but you’d be damned if you let him get close enough to you, Aizawa hadn’t seen your power like this in a long time but the red energy swirled around the you and the creature that held you, the creature was pulled apart and you were left floating in place “stay away from me.” “You still seem quite scared.” Shigaraki teased as he walked forward, you moved back but you soon realised that he was trying to put you back towards you classmates so instead you disappeared, he gritted his teeth as he turned his attention back to the class of kids “stick to the plan, she was a bonus item anyway.”

Todoroki had been separated from the rest of the class and he hand managed to stay away from the villains that seemed to be following him around, he stopped when he heard crying, he approached a small group of rocks carefully looking around it to see that you were hiding behind the rocks “(Y/N)?” His voice was soft, devoid of emotion as it always was. “Shoto.” You mumbled as you looked up, he was standing just short of the barrier. “Are you okay?” He asked. “I’m sorry.” You devolved into crying again and the energy around the barrier became erratic again. “There’s nothing to be sorry for, you didn’t hurt anyone.” He reminded you. “It’s okay.” “It’s not okay… You have to get out of here before I hurt you too.” You mumbled. “That’s what he said I was good for.” “He’s a villain of course he did.” Todoroki muttered and you looked at him. “Look.” He gently put his hand out to touch the barrier, you panicked as you moved forward to stop him but instead his hand pushed through “see.” “Wait but-” You moved toward taking his hand in yours, checking it over before checking the rest of him. “He lied to you.” Todoroki mumbled “whoever he was, we can prove them wrong together.”

You weren’t allowed to compete in the Sports Festival for obvious reasons and honestly you didn’t want to, you watched from the commentary box with Aizawa and Hizashi, they helped to keep your mind off of previous events, you were in awe of Todoroki and the way that he used his power, feeling closer to him when you found out why he didn’t use all of his power, unfortunately you were split up for a long time due to the work placements but when you both saw each other again you had spent a lot of time working on control and putting yourself in situations that made you nervous or angry and controlling your power in those settings.

The training camp started and just like everyone else you were trying your best to get a handle on your quirk but just like everything else you it went well for a sum total of 24 hours. When the villains came looking for Bakugo you were with Aizawa, Izuku told you both what was happening and before you knew it you were volunteering to go look for the, “I can go.” You said. “What?” Izuku asked. “I can teleport with my ability, I get around this forest faster than anyone else can, I can find everyone that’s still missing and send them back to the building, there’s already a barrier there because of the other villain.” You explained “I’ll go to the starting line first to get everyone there and then I can find everyone who’s still in the forest, once everyone’s back we can make a better plan.” You explained. “Are you sure?” Izuku asked, you looked at him and nodded. “Bakugo was with Shoto, Bakugo was your first friend and Shoto is mine I’ll find them I promise.” You said. “If you feel like you have to stop, you come back and we can figure something else out okay?” Aizawa said as he turned you to look at him. “I will.” You nodded. You did as you said you would manage to get most people back, you found Bakugo and Todoroki putting up a barrier “it’s time to go.” You mumbled. “Are you okay?” Todoroki asked supporting your body. “Yeah, you guys are the last ones.” You mumbled “I have to do this one at a time.” You mumbled as you reached out and touched the boy that Todoroki was holding before walking over to Bakugo. “What the hell are you doing?” He asked. “Teleporting you back to the others.” You answered, hand pressing against his shoulder before he could protest further, your legs gave out underneath you and Todoroki fell to the ground pulling you into his lap. “It's not working.” “It’s okay, deep breath, you're still protecting us, see.” Todoroki turned your face back to the barrier that the scarred villain was still trying to burn his way through. “Deep breath, don’t panic, you’ve done so well. We’re going to be okay, I promise.” He pulled you closer, your face buried in his neck as you breathing evened out, he watched as the world around him seemed to change and before he knew it he was sitting on the floor in front of the dorms that they had all been staying in. Aizawa was in front of him in seconds. “What took you so long?” Aizawa asked. “She pushed herself, she’s exhausted.” Todoroki answered, he attempted to move back to get a better look at your face but you just seemed to bury yourself closer to him. “Take her inside, she needs rest.” Aizawa said before turning to look at the tree line, he wasn’t sure if they were still out there but he needed to protect the kids until back up got there.

You woke up the next morning and Todoroki was sitting next to the futon that you had been sitting on “Morning.” He smiled softly. “Is everyone okay?” You asked. “Everyone is fine, you saved them.” He smiled. “Me?” You asked, he nodded and pointed at everyone getting their stuff together. “Time to go. Aizawa already packed your stuff, you think you can walk?” He asked. “Yeah probably.” You nodded, you sat up and then tried to stand with Todoroki helping you, your legs were a little wobbly but he guided towards the bus. “Thanks for the help.” You said softly. “I’ll be here no matter what.” He promised, “remember we’re going to prove them wrong together.”
