The shadow before me

In lock-step

With this phantom guide

 Each twist and turn

I obeyed

And followed

Without question

The intimate silhouette

 After weary years

Bent and exhausted

And with bowed head

I came upon a mirror

And spied the shadow’s source

 Suddenly mirrors

Appeared everywhere

And soon I knew

The Truth had always

Had my back

 Slowly I turned

And blinded by the Light

The shadow guide had gone

And in the stillness of discovery

I allowed Light’s soft embrace

 One step more I took

Absorbed by Truth

The shadow-companion

 The influence of sentiment to keep the sleeper God held fast within the grand dream of life is formidable. The lyrics of popular songs are filled with sentiment such as: ‘hiding, searching, longing, needing, pleading, wishing, hoping, losing, winning, overcoming and of course “dreaming”’. Combined with passion fueled melodies and sung by heart wrenching voices filled with every emotion conceivable, sentiment has captured humanity’s attention for eons within the tiny cage of feeling ‘incomplete’.

 ONE-ness is All that there is … call it God or I AM or Conscious Awareness, there is ‘nothing outside’ ONE but attention on the ‘belief in separation’ can make it seem like there are a multitude of individual entities that cannot possibly survive without each other. The word ‘relationship’, accepted as normal by most people seems to validate the reality of two or more coming together with each other. ‘Community’ also favors the idea that we are separated and is celebrated as a way to communicate and collaborate for a happier existence.

 While there is nothing inherently incorrect about these concepts, clinging to them as essential aspects for living in Truth ‘delays’ the full Awareness of One-ness and the Freedom IT ‘is’. This is radical and outrageous to the false self who will defend these and other ‘bring-us-together’ concepts as essential for human survival … but the Truth is you are NOT human and you are NOT separated in any way. You are God ‘using’ a physical body to navigate within a dream. As God, everything within the dream is an instrument with which to navigate and its ALL ‘you’ … its just been a while [seemingly] since you remember having that awareness … although, many are spontaneously beginning to communicate with many other forms of life more and more as the intensity of Light expands.
