16-year-old Rain was not uncommon from any other teen; he was deeply embarrassed by his loving parents. “Do not let dad wave at the bus tomorrow,” Rain pleaded with his mom.

In a situation where most parents would back off from further humiliating their kids, Rain’s dad took the opportunity to show his son that he should be grateful to have a dad who sees him off on his way to school.

Dale Price decided to don outrageous costumes to really show his son how embarrassing he can be. Each morning as the bus departed with his son, Dale stood on the porch waving, dressed in a different costume.

He continued waving at the bus for 170 days, posing in a new outfit with a mile-wide grin. With costumes including Princess Leia, a giant chicken, and even a blushing bride, Dale stood on his porch through shine and snow to teach his a tough lesson.
