kyoutani wears eyeliner.

oikawa wears mascara.

yahaba wears a full face of makeup: foundation, eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, eyeshadow etc.

oikawa once ran into kyoutani applying his eyeliner in the bathroom and he and yahaba forced kyoutani to have a makeover night with them.

after that, it became a routinely thing between the three of them, and it was often spent gossiping (between oikawa and yahaba) and watching a mix of alien moves (oikawa), romcoms (yahaba), and dog movies (kyoutani), and some old volleyball games on youtube. 

they show up at school one day, strutting around like they’re in mean girls (or, oikawa and yahaba do; kyoutani slouches behind them) and they’re the talk of the whole school

guys and girls especially, are into oikawa, guys are blatantly staring at yahaba because goddamn, he’s fucking hot, and everyone is staring at kyoutani because not only did he have eyeliner on (liquid this time!! not just pencil!!), he had altered his uniform (ripped pants, unbuttoned top and jacket, loosened tie)

all the third years make fun of oikawa, but teasingly because wow he got prettier and iwa-chan can’t keep his eyes off of his best friend
