What if it turns out that VEGETABLES ARE POISONUS TO FUSHIMI?! He didn't want anyone to find out so he tries to pretend he doesn't like vegetables. An enemy kidnapped Scepter 4 and Homra and decided to let them go if Fushimi eats all the vegetables. Fushimi forces himself and successfully ate all the veggies and had an abnormal reaction. What is their reaction to finding out that Fushimi can't eat veggies?
I’m thinking maybe he has some super rare allergy that causes him to break out in hives and have trouble breathing whenever he eats vegetables, no matter what kind it is he gets sick after eating. He probably first found this out after Niki made him eat a bunch of broccoli just for kicks, like it was initially planned as a kind of ‘ha ha watch me make my kid eat something he hates’ joke but then it turned into ‘trip to the hospital because turns out the kid is deathly allergic.’ Niki found this more hilarious than concerning and probably began putting veggies in the food just because he thinks it’s funny and he tells the maid that Saruhiko is a stubborn kid and she should be sure to put as many vegetables in his food as possible. Fushimi doesn’t want to admit that he gets sick after eating vegetables because he thinks it will lead to too many questions and give Niki ammunition to tease him with so he just says that he hates vegetables and won’t eat them. Everyone keeps telling him that he’s so unhealthy and needs to eat vegetables and Fushimi continues to maintain the fiction that he just doesn’t like them, not admitting that he gets sick just from trying one.
So then at some point he’s forced into eating vegetables and then everyone finds out about his issue. The idea of someone kidnapping S4 or Homra and releasing them only if Fushimi eats his vegetables is kinda hilarious to me, like it feels so petty of this villain Strain who’s like 'ha ha I have captured your friends and the only way to help them escape is to….eat this broccoli!’ Maybe the Strain also has a little tsun crush on Fushimi and the kidnapping is an elaborate attempt to try and get him to become a bit healthier. Except then after Fushimi eats the vegetables he starts having trouble breathing and everything and he ends up in the hospital. Initially everyone probably thinks he’s being dramatic, like come on they’re just vegetables but then they start to see red spots on Fushimi’s neck and he’s clearly having a bad allergic reaction and now everyone’s really worried. Afterward it would probably be a bit of surprise, to find out that no Fushimi isn’t entirely just a picky eater he actually has a really good reason to not eat vegetables. Yata would probably feel bad especially, like all those years he tried to sneak veggies into Fushimi’s food to make him healthier and really Yata could have killed him. Fushimi probably figures at least now people will stop bugging him to eat healthier, except of course now everyone’s trying to get him to eat various vegetables substitutes that he’s not allergic to because even without his lethal vegetables allergy he’s still an unhealthy little shit who needs nutrients.
