Ok I always skip the episodes with maeve (zugzwang and the one before it where spencer goes to meet her at the restaurant but it doesn’t end up happening) NOT because I dislike maeve but because in real life this guy I liked literally confessed his love to me using that same thomas merton quote written in the cover of a book (basically exactly what maeve gives spencer) AND THEN he proceeded to break up with me/ cut off all contact like a month later using a letter that contained part of JJ's voiceover quote from her exit interview when she's being reassigned from the BAU ("there are things we don't want to happen but have to accept and people we can't live without but have to let go" or something like that?) and I didn't figure out those quotes were even from anything until literally 5 years later when i watched cm for the first time and I was like wait a second... I've heard those words before! anyway still not over it lol
