Omegis
An immortal woman who was originally from outworld but now resides in Earthrealm. She gained a reputation by the order of light as a hermit, with many believing her to be an old woman when her appearance is revealed to be an elephant woman with great beauty.
During her youth she would be revered throughout outworld with her beauty and known mastery of ancient alchemy. Omegis had created potions for many uses including strength boosts, opening magical barriers, curing illnesses, and many more. Yet despite all her achievements, Omegis hid a fear beneath her graceful appearance; mortality.
Despite being an Outworlder, Omegis feared the thought of losing her beauty so she turned to dark sorcery. She spent so much time learning from many sorcerors until finally meeting the infamous Sorceror Shang Tsung.
It was by chance the two of them would meet as they shared the same ambitions and desired immortality, soon their bond grew into a romantic bond. They pursued ancient rituals, trained together, keeping their bond.
At the time of their relationship they were training under the mysterious mystical Master Cho who trained fighters for mortal Kombat tournaments. Master Cho trained the duo in powerful sorcery and the ways of combat. He forbid the duo the ancient techniques of preserving youth as it would be a dangerous if known.
This resulted in Shang Tsung betraying his master as he joined Shao Khan’s forces and learned the ways of retaining youth. Omegis had hoped that Shang Tsung would allow her to join them.
After a plan in betraying Master Cho, Master Cho cursed Omegis with immortality gaining what she desired. It was short lived as Shang Tsung broke her heart and betrayed her as well abandoning her in Earthrealm. Omegis learned the harsh reality of her wish.
She would never age, she saw many lives evolve over the years, life evolving, and people she once knew dying as she outlived them. Her once lively radiant spirit was decayed with envy for those that are young and mortal for they have the chance of mortality.
Omegis lives in the woods by the order of light in earthrealm with some members retaining documents of her location. Some say Omegis has a heart of stone, an old hermit secluded hiding herself from mortals. Others suggest she is still trying to break her curse of immortality so she may finally be greeted by death.
Despite it all Omegis wishes to be alone, isolated, and envious of others. Omegis is condemned to an eternity of the very power she once desired. A haunting reminder that immortality may be a crueler fate worse than death.
*Notes*: This character is definitely another iconic character from the mortal Kombat conquest show. I really liked her role in the series and definitely wish she could be in the franchise since she could some new things to the franchise not yet seen. Definitely check her wiki to get a better sense of the character but I do believe I did a decent job telling my own rendition of the character.
