We were talking about if Hydaelyn had a Metaverse. Aghurlal would take a long time to awaken to his Persona, because in all honesty, he’d be starting out with a Palace... but... since he was based on Wrathion to start with, I thought it would be fun if Wrathion was his Persona.

Although Aghurlal, being an Echo-user, would eventually awaken to the ability to retain multiple Personas, he and Wrathion share the Chariot arcana; I know they’re pretty divergent from other Persona-series Chariots, but I truly believe the card suits them very well!

Quick and easy summary of my Au Ra’s backstory

Wrathion was created “in the days following the Cataclysm”, and the Cataclysm was yesterday (7th December), so... happy (slightly early) birthday, @plenary-prodigy. Sorry people keep calling you a toddler. =w=;

4. The Emperor - Varian Wrynn

The Emperor represents power and authority. He has long hair, and a large scar, both representing his worldly experience and maturity. The scar in particular suggests that he is worth listening to; he has learned first-hand the consequences of his actions.

Behind him are the charred mountains of Blackrock, representing past mistakes - both of his own kingdom and others’. He wears the regalia of his forefathers and their allies; each has gifted him a decorative lion’s head to wear, representing leadership, strength, and social intelligence.

Under his left hand is a map representing the World he has spent his life learning how to rule fairly. In his right hand, he holds his legendary blade, Shalamayne; in this state, the blade represents the Balance - between destruction and creation, strength and intelligence, fury and tranquillity, death and life - that sums up all of existence.

The red gem on Shalamayne’s crossguard, and the warm colours of his cloak, represent his passion and determination; while the blue gem on Shalamayne’s pommel, and the cool colours of his armour, represent his intellectual reasoning and initiative.
