Mikhail Zoshchenko: what would you call the most absurd experience of yours?

Let me think. There are many to choose from, but since it’s Russian lit themed asks, I’m going to share an experience I had which involved Russian. So, I and a friend of mine were going to watch a movie, but that film had, like, maximum 10 views on letterboxd. It was a stupid arthouse-type foreign porn movie. Since it was literally impossible for us to hire/buy that film because it wasn’t available online, I had to download it via very illegal sources. I put on my hacker hoodie and said “ok, i’m gonna find and download that movie at whatever cost because we’re both horny.”  I entered some very scary looking Russian websites, typed everything in Russian, and used a literal dictionary for unknown words to find that particular movie. It was terrifying. We both rated the movie 2/5 and not 0.5/5, by the way, because the actor’s you-know-what was *chef’s kiss*. At the end, I survived, but it’s been more than four months and some of my google advertisements are still in Russian. I think I’m being followed by the fbi.

Ah no worries! I love getting asks! I don’t get so many these days especially not on this blog since I don’t do many personal posts, I don’t think it occurs to people to send them lol.

I think I’ve always had a soft spot for Rapunzel 

Carnation pink - Congrats! You get to write direct and star in a film, about whatever you want! What’s the genre and what’s the soundtrack for the opening credits, the action or drama sequences, the climax of the film, and the closing credits?It’s a fantasy drama, it opens with Never Let Me Go by Florence + the Machine, during emotional sequence it’s got I Only Wanna Talk To You by the Maine, the climax has Separate by PVRIS and credits is NFWMB by Hozier.

Mountbatten pink - If you could get any tattoo, disregarding pain or cost, what would you get?I want a moon with a wave coming off it, I’ve been using it as the symbol for a poetry collection I wrote and I’m super fond of it. I would get it right now if I weren’t so socially anxious lol.

Tiger - What is your bravest moment?I’m not sure if I would call myself brave to begin with, since I’m not really afraid of much. I’d say having to move so often is brave but the first time I moved overseas I was 5 and I’ve been told I wasn’t upset or scared at all.Morale - Is your castle made of glass or stone?If I’m understanding this metaphor correctly, it’s made of stone, but it has no walls.

Anomaly - What do you find unique about yourself?My childhood was fairly unusual and I ended up being pretty unorthodox in a lot of aspects of my life.

Opaque: Do you wear any jewelry?

Yes yes, all the time! I love small necklaces and rings. I wear, like, five rings at the same time. And I have natural stone necklaces that I love combining with chokers.

Whimsical: Favorite fairytale?

Beauty and The Beastttttt. I believe it’s because I find Belle the strongest and the most intelligent of them all. And it’s the most romantic one, in my opinion.
