Hi Crim, two questions. Firstly, how do you deal with writers block? I’m struggling to get past one scene and I just can’t seem to find a way to get past it. Secondly, would you mind if I kept a copy of libahunt with the boys in it? I wouldn’t share it, it would just be for me, but I wanted to ask you first. I love your work and can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
Hey there!
The writer's block can sometimes be super debilitating. I tend to always have 4-5 stories going at once, so if I’m stuck with one story, I can just to the other. Another tactic I use is music playlists for my stories so they’ll get me in the right frame of mind for writing. You can re-read the previous chapter to get the flow going again, or even re-read a story that you feel is written well/gets your emotions going so that you get inspired. There’s also the fact that some days, you don’t have to write. If I’m not in the mood, I don’t force myself. It’s just not worth it.
And yes, please do! I encourage all who wanna keep a copy of it on their computers or w/e. But try to also buy the book when it comes out XD
Thank you very much for the advice, I had sort of arrived to a similar conclusion, but hearing from someone I admire has really affirmed it for me. I have been writing in private for years, my partner and best friend are so supportive, and I think I’m finally ready to put some of it out there.
