Okay Okay get ready for Rambles

I play a Chaotic good half-elf rouge with half-goblin descent. Their name is Olivern and their 12 and very very feral.

As a quick description they're kinda small (5'4) and they are very skinny and kinda malnourished. They've got like really messy and unkept short brown hair and long bangs that always cover their face, they've got greyish-pale skin, and their left eye is a sort of Green-gold while their left is all black with white ringed pupil, and ofc they've got pointed ears n sharp teefs. And they've got really gaunt and tired features to them

As a sum of their backstory; Basically they were considered an "Ugly" baby so their Mother (Their father was an Elf) basically hired bandits to throw them off the cliff to make it look like an accident.

But they survived, though their back was kinda permanently scarred from it, and they were taken in by a pack of wolves and protected from the cold and what not, but one day the wolves who raised them were all killed by poachers for their fur so lil Ollie was all alone and went to the closet village that happened to be filled with like mostly rich people but no one would take them in so now they steal for food and sleep in dumpsters to stay warm, they've gotten pretty used to the smell as well as the cold and the taste of raw meat. They also take baths in the lake so they aren't always stinky.

They can't read or write very well since they pretty much had to teach themselves and their dyslexia makes it harder as well. They do speak a lil Dragonic which they picked up from an old group of travelers.

They got their name from a random sign and just changed the letters around to get "Olivern" though most just call them young scavenger or young one or not so nice names.

Their arms n legs n hands are pretty scarred up from falling or hurting themselves during scuffles or jumping fences. They do have a few couple smaller scars on their face but their largest scar is on their back from when they were younger.

They're smart but also a bit of a dumbass who puts others before themselves and they also are very touch starved and while they respect others boundaries they don't really have a sense of them so you would have to be upfront with them about it.

They're pretty lonely and the only friend they really have are a dirty black street cat named 'Cat'.

They wear a torn and baggy dark grey shirt, baggy and ripped black pants that they keep up with a belt, they also have black gloves, bandage wraps on the bottom of their arms and their legs as well as around their feet to mimic shoes. They also carry a lil pouch with a tinder box that's filled with shiny gems and other shiny stuff as well as a dagger. The only thing really intact is their long black cloak and a wolf tooth necklace around their neck.

Anyways, I love them so much and my party found them in a dumpster.

2.before they met their party, what was their main goal?

Before they met their party Olives main goal was to find a way off the place they were living, as they kinda got involved with some people they shouldn't have gotten involved with and they were trying to get as far away as possible from them.

40. do they enjoy poetry?

Olivern enjoys reading just about anything so I’d say they’d do. It depends on the poem though, the ones that are overly complicated and use to many weird words and symbolism they aren't really a fan off. They just like nice simple poems about nature. They’ve even written a few poems themselves. 

67. what makes them laugh?

Ah I actually had to think about this one for a bit. 

Olive at first didnt laugh much, as they kinda had to taught themselves to hide any sort of outward reaction of emotion for their own safety. 

However, now that they are more comfortable with their party group they are starting to ease up a lot more on this. 

Their laugh is the kinda laugh you’d expect a younger kid to have, very squeaky and giggly at first but once you have them really laughing they are borderline cackling with small little hiccups in between. 

As for what exactly make them laugh well, dry humor is certainly one of the things that’ll have them covering their mouth to try and hide their titters, and terrible puns will certainly have them looking away to hide the smile on their face, or if they get really really excited they will start giggling. And once you get them laughing its pretty easy to keep them laughing. Mostly since once the emotions are actually out, Olivern has a much harder time stopping them. 

69.how would they describe their party members?

Oh I love this question its very good!! 

Human fighter V: At first? They thought he was kinda annoying and also a bit of a murderhobo, but now after being closer they still think he’s annoying and stubborn but in an affectionate way. He’s their emotional support Human fighter and they love him a lot.

Dragonborn wizard S: He is their Grandpa 100%, they think very very highly of him. They thinks he’s the smartest person ever and ofc he knows everything. He’s comfy to lay on and makes a good pillow. Also he smells nice. 

Tiefling Monk BB: Big!! Sister!! Olivern adores her she is one of their favorite people in the world and she can do no wrong, Olivern follows her around like a puppy. She’s warm and comfy and shes gives good head scratches. 

Human Paladin B: He’s kinda loud but they think thats whats charming about him, they think he needs therapy so he doesnt keep drinking to avoid his problems and they think he’s a dumbass (affectionate) but he’s still their weird uncle and they love him, he’s one of the more playful people they know and they secretly enjoy it when he messes with them, they like the attention sue them.

Human fighter L: They think he’s stubborn and frustrating, but that he means well. They care about him but he has a habit, much like V, of stressing them the fuck out. They arent as close to him as the others but they still care about him. They’ve have actually grown a bit closer in recent sessions and he’s a very caring older brother just kinda stressed out. 

Human fighter O: He’s very loud but they don’t mind, he’s really fun. He talks a lot and Olivern likes to listen to his stories. He likes to have fun and Olivern likes hanging around him. He gives some of the best hugs, its the kind where he picks you up and spins you around and Olivern loves them. He is top tier fun uncle.

Eladrin Bard T: Kind of an Asshole but in an affectionate way, Olivern knows he doesnt like them but they still think he’s kinda cool. He’s the one who lets them do all the bad shit so why should they complain?

???? Sorcerer J: He has glowy hair and fire powers and a gun. they think he is very cool. 

???? Monk C: A little bit distrusting of them since they dont know anything about them, but they think they're nice at least.

23. How do they feel about nicknames, titles, or labels that have been given to them? how do they feel about their name?

Oooo this is a fitting question! So my characters title that they go by is Olivern, which isnt actually their name! They dont know their real name and Olivern is just a name they got off a store sign lol. They arent really that attached to Olivern, but it feels more like a personal title since its how they're known by their group. The title they had beforehand was just 'The scavenger' or 'The kid'

As for nicknames, Olivern will only let people they like call them nicknames. Which is pretty much only the people in their group, and only certain people can use certain nicknames.

Some of their nicknames include; Olive, Ollie, Squirt, Kiddo, Nugget, Little griffon, Kitten, Frosty, My child/little one, and fox.

38. What do they smell like?

At first? They were kinda stinky, they never bathed and lived in a dumpster. But most often or not they smelled very strongly of blood. Mostly from never cleaning their wounds and wearing gross bandages all the time and from getting covered in blood while fighting.

After they were dragged into being given a bath and some actual clean clothes they kinda actually smell a bit like flowers, very earthy. And they also sorta smell...cold? If that makes sense. But mostly they smell like other people, since they tend to just try and rub against people so they're covered in their favorite peoples scent.

39. are their hands calloused, soft, or something else entirely?

Oooo I love talking about my characters hands.

Now Olivern is a Rogue, so they work with their hands a lot. Their hands are quite calloused, specifically the tips of their fingers, and are covered in different small scars from working with traps. Their fingers are also kinda messed up, from being broken quite a few times, sort of slightly crooked.

Their hands are also very cold, like...very very cold. Most of the time they wear gloves, I actually dont think they've taken them off once during the Campaign lol, which is more for others benefits so their friends dont have to suffer the wrath of their cold ass hands lol
