Dear past me,

You’re going to go through a lot of ups and downs. It doesn’t get better. That’s bullshit. You don’t just hit a magic age and reach some state of unparalleled self-love and understanding. Sometimes things are good, then they’re bad, then they’re worse or just okay -- it’s going to go back and forth a lot for you and me. It’s okay, though. You’re going to be fine, no matter what happens, you’re always going to be fine in the end. No one will ever take that away from you.
