So I haven't been drawing comics lately - but I've been sketching like crazy so I'll post a few. Hope you like them! This is Olive Oatman - she has a pretty interesting life story (if you couldn't decipher from the blue face tattoo), you should check it out.
This is Olive Oatman. Native Americans abducted her at 13 years old (1851) in today's Arizona (along with her younger sister, Mary-Ann aged 7) after massacring 6 members of her family. The Yavapai people traded the sisters for a few horses and a bag of beans to The Mohave people. Olive's sister Mary-Ann died shortly afterwards. The Mohave tattooed Olive's chin to ensure her safe entry into 'the Afterlife' - Olive was freed at 19 years old.Â
