I do not often do something “fancy” or “indulgent” for myself. I could... but we are pretty careful about how we spend our money and in general I know that THINGS don’t bring ME happiness. They are fun to have but this is just something I have learned about myself. As a result... when I DO buy myself something special or when@thecarvingshed does I REALLY appreciate it more. In this case I bought myself a new purse! Crazy thing is.... I got this @platoscloset LOL Even the $30 bucks was hard for me. I have never had a Dooney and Burke Bag. But this odd teal and patent leather spoke to me! When I left the store without it I was sad! I knew I had to go back and get it. Every time I sling it over my shoulder it makes me smile. I don’t know why the original owner gave it up and yes.... I didn’t spend big bucks on myself but it brings me a moment of gratitude that I did something silly for myself. .
