We watch with bated breath

Slowly the sea king becomes in charge of the river

The same old river but also a different one

The sea is still there in the form of a sliver

We’re all tainted by death

Madness isn’t mysterious

Its different in reality than in a book

No longer intriguing but still dangerous

Some of us willingly catch madness’ hook

We all eventually end up being somewhat delirious

The adventure is no longer so innocent

The violent tendencies scare
