Still have some paper tape programs, I learned to program in the late 70s but our high school had (typically) outdated equipment, and was still rocking a few of these connected to our PDP-8.
We are getting closer to finding out why our 1994 DEC 3000 AXP workstation will not fire up.. narrowed down to a short on the 12V supply, and that in turn led to this highly suspicious capacitor.

Memory subsystem from a DEC Alpha workstation designed by yours truly back in 1991. Another Digital alum buddy and I are trying to resurrect this beast.
Early ATM from 1970. I remember the first time my mom took me to get money out of one back then add thinking it was amazing you could get money from a machine.
We knew we wanted to play with pixels even back in the late 60s. We didn't let the absence of home computers stop us, either.
Only issue with Lite Brite was the eternal search for black construction paper. You could really only buy color packs of it back then and it had like two black sheets total. Other colors just don't cut it, nothing beats a glowy colored peg shining in a sea of black.
