Letβs start with the basics and work our way up: Under Layers Hada Juban and Susoyoke: $75 Tabi Socks: $15 Makeup and Makeup Brushes: $500Β Koshihimo Set: $50 Datejime: $50 Obi Ita: $50 Obi Makura: $100 Juban: $500 - $1,000 Haneri: $500 - $1,000 Total: $1,840 - $2,840 Outer Layers Hikizuri: $5,000 - $10,000 Obi: $5,000 - $7,500 Obijime: $200 Obiage: $500 Pocchiri: $15,000 - $25,000 Okobo: $2,000 Kago: $250 Total: $27,950 - $45,450 Kanzashi Monthly Kanzashi Set: $600 Tama Kanzashi: $500 Tachibana Kanzashi (Junior Maiko Only): $1,500 Hirauchi (Senior Maiko Only): $1,000 Bira Bira: $500 Kanokodome (Junior Maiko Only): $1,000 - $5,000 Total Junior Maiko: $4,100 - $8,100 Total Senior Maiko: $2,600 So, on the lowest end a maikoβs outfit is $32,390 while at the high end itβs $56,390! Obviously itβs the pocchiri that really makes the outfit at half of the entire cost, but it all adds up in its own way! Did I miss anything or is there anything else youβd like me to look at?
