So... as I posted on Sunday... I just registered for my first CrossFit Comp! A few things...
Hell yeah!
But wait, I'm totally terrified. Nervous beyond belief! Just going to focus on the good and try to ignore my nerves.
What a perfect type of competition to get my feet wet. I'll be in the open division of course.
Oddly enough my coaches also registered for the open division. NOT FAIR. I heard that's called 'sand bagging'?
I have nothing to lose. My goal is to show up, and not pee my pants (or shorts, whatever).
I do have a lot of work to do. There are still a few lifts I can't do Rx (*cough*snatch*cough*). But I have two months to get them down... and heavy. I checked my log book the other day and was totally taken by surprise. My deadlifts have really improved in a very short amount of time so for the next two months I'm going to go back to recording my PRs etc. That's what it's all about, right?
Is this real life?
