the one thing about matt is that he's a networker and he is SKILLED at it. like that word has such a dirty association in my mind as a young person where it seems like you can get nowhere without knowing a guy but i truly look up to matt in the fact that he really cares about talking to other people, attentively listening to what other people have to say. i do think in part it comes naturally to him to thrive off of that conversation bouncing energy and that ability to know so many people that you're then able to connect a friend of a friend or go oh my pal who worked on this a couple years ago sounds like he'd be a really great fit for this actually do you know him? etc etc he's just very skilled at throwing himself into opportunity, he's always the conversationalist and of course he likes talking about film and his own creative endeavors and the industry like this is HIS thing and idk where i was quite going with this but basically like it's just very cool to see that his networking abilities come from a place of passion and love of what he does
