dad's coming home tomorrow omg

i had a dinner with my dad, his wife, my brother and my dad’s japanese friend who used to work in the same company with him.

i just don’t know is it just me or are all japanese older men some kind of… ecchi? EVERY. SINGLE. OF. THEM.

we (me and the salaryman) talked mostly in japanese because his english was - honestly speaking - very poor.

my japanese was horrible and i wanted to cry /btw

mainly the topics were how was my life in japan plaaplaa where i was what kind of japanese dishes i have eaten plaah but then there was something out of place… like…

he told me he has a picture of me in a swimsuit from the time his family visited Finland (yeah, i’ve seen him before but i was 5y/o so like i would remember him duh). it was kinda odd. i hope i didn’t give him a strange look or something. i was kinda puzzled.

then he told me i’m an otaku because the japanese bands i told him i’m a big fan of (Kiyoharu, DIR EN GREY, RADWIMPS) didn’t ring his bell. IT REALLY DID HURT because I’M NOT A FREAKING OTAKU I DON’T EVEN LIKE ANIME AND MANGA SO PLEASE NO BUT HOW COULD I EVEN SAY SOMETHING BACK

and his last question was do i have a boyfriend and i was just NO NO I DON’T HAVE A BOYFRIEND and he was WHY and HOW I SHOULD ANSWER THAT QUESTION LIKE “MM BECAUSE I RATHER EAT SOMEONE’S PUS—” NO NO MAYBE I JUST SMILE AND HOPE THIS WILL END SOON (and when salaryman told his question to my dad and he gave that kind of look that he knows i’m a queer (haven't told him yet lol) and i definetely don’t have a boyfriend to show off —- i felt like crying)

okay salaryman’s omiage was nice yay 2kg of rice i’m going to make sushi and die happy

but still…. CREEEEEPYYYYYYYY.

and kinda sad.
