If you would have asked Noah five years ago what he imagined his life now, he wouldnât even picture that he would be married, have a son and a set of twins. He did think that he would have been far away from Sterling City but his wifeâs big heart to still help the slaves at the House kept them in Sterling but they made sure to distance themselves from the House so that their children wouldnât be exposed to the House until they were ready to tell them about the House.Â
âFinley homework before video games pleaseâ Noahâs words were calm but stern, Finley had grown to be such an amazing young man, he thought that Finelyâs teenage years would be more difficult and he didnât know how he would feel when Noah first started hanging around his mother more and more but when Finely took a liking to Nah, he wasnât worried at all.
âjust one game dad? please?â Finely begged and it caused a chuckle to move from his lips but he wanted to keep to his word.
âHow about you do half of your homework and then you can play for a little bit deal?â with Noahâs words, he saw Finely nod, it was a good compromise, he remembered how stressful homework could be and how much he hated it.
Noah then closed Finelyâs bedroom door and made his way downstairs and to the kitchen where his wife, Flora was preparing lunch for their children, they had a boy and a girl and it amazed him that they were already two years old and saying words and walking, they were growing up so fast. Xavier was busy drawing while their daughter Rosalie was playing with her dolls. He walked over to Flora placing a gentle kiss to her cheek and smiling before he made his way over to the twins. Despite the fact that Finely wasnât his birth son, he treated Finely and the twins equally, loving them all just the same.
Rosalie tilted her head up towards her father with a bright smile on her lips âPapa, brother bought me new dollâ she held the doll up very proudly, a warm smile forming on his lips before he spoke âFinely bought you that, he must love you a lotâ she then proceeded to giggle âhe bought Xaviey a book to colorâ she spoke happily. Noah leaned in to place a gentle kiss on her head before turning his attention to Xavier who seemed so focused on his drawing, a chuckle moving from his lips as he watched him. He stood up, running his fingers threw both of their hairs before he made his way over to Flora.
âHe bought them with his allowance, I was very proudâ Flora sweet voice echoed in his ears, he pulled her into his arms and held her close with a smile.
âHe has a big heart, much like his amazing motherâ Noah smiled as he spoke the words and he leaned in to place a soft kiss to Floraâs lips and that caused both of his twins to say yucky and that only caused a soft chuckle to move from Noahâs lips, he gazed over at the twins and then at Finely when he waled down for lunch before he gazed back at Flora âthank you.â
Flora looked confused before she spoke, âfor what?â
Noah then smiled brightly âfor giving me a family, a home, I love you.â
His words seemed to bring a happy tear to Floraâs eyes and a smile on her soft lips and he leaned in to place a soft kiss to her lips smiling when she quickly returned the kiss. He had never thought he would have a family again, a part of him always thought he would end up with Rosalie but she had become engaged to a man who was better suited for her, they still kept in contact but he would ever regret his decision to marry Flora, She made him realize that home wasnât where you lived, home was where your heart laid, she had his heart, his soul, she would always and forever be his home.
