Nařízení Evropské unie zavádí změnu v ochranných známkách EU. Změny nejsou zásadní, nejedná se o revoluci. Podnikatele však potěší. Dochází ke snížení poplatků za registraci ochranné známky EU, obnovení ochranné známky či za podání námitek. Nově si také můžete zaregistrovat certifikační ochrannou známku. Úřad pro harmonizaci na vnitřním trhu (OHIM) se přejmenuje na Úřad Evropské unie pro duševní vlastnictví (EUIPO). Další změny uvádíme přímo v článku.
The system will change from a basic fee that covers up to three classes of goods and services to a ‘pay-per-class' system.
