This fully worked as a distraction thank u very much because I get so lost in my head when I think of Jas and Steve, so much that I ended up falling asleep thinking of them 😌 whoops 😌

This is so much long as than planned and I’ve basically just given you their entire backstory so I’m gonna put it under a read more 😂

Pre-Civil War, they have a pretty normal (or whatever passes for normal as an avenger) relationship; Jas helps him look for Bucky, she takes him to meet her family (Steve and her grandpa get along really well and her grandpa tells Steve about how he would always tell her stories about Captain America when she was a little girl and how Jas always wanted to know about “Captain America’s cute best friend”) (Steve teases her relentlessly over that and says he wouldn’t have stood a chance with her if Bucky was still around), Steve takes her to see Peggy, takes her on dates, tries to teach her to dance properly like he did in the 40s. They’re just a normal, happy, couple who love each other.

I really hope you end up making a whole series of stories for Cassandra Barton bc I love her and I would die for her 💕
