#oh come on...

Etho likes to scoop him up like a large potted plant and set him down in X's greenhouse. It's warm and the glass is steamed over, the air thick with the smell of flowers and ripe crops. No matter how frustrated or hyper Bdubs is, a few minutes in there with Etho either calmly staring at him or rubbing the back of his moss hoodie are always enough to get him calmed down again, despite his best efforts.

(You would think the vines hanging from the ceiling and the humid air would take him back to a bad place, but actually, it helps. It helps because every time he goes there, those other, darker memories get overwritten, little by little, more and more each time. It helps because with Etho there, he knows that this time he won't be left alone.)
