As I was organizing some folders on my computer, I realized I hadn't looked at the OGS LA pics since I exported them from my phone to the computer, so I indulged myself a little in reliving that night. Most of them are blurry and not worth sharing, but there are a few that make me happy.

Like these -- a little something for all the Nam Woohyun fans. No zoom needed! ^_^

It was a gorgeous stage. They had already shown his little “Music is Dead” clip so everyone knew what was coming. I hadn’t looked up fancams of his stage beforehand so I wasn’t 100% sure what was going to happen. It was worth it. More than worth it.

Sunggyu started off a few feet away from the microphone as a soft piano started to play. A few bars in and he stepped up to it, held it gently in his right hand and threw his left hand over before pressing his lips to it. And the lights dimmed slightly. Screaming filled the arena. His voice was so soft and gentle, backed only by the piano at this point. Then a spotlight snapped on and in a single light he continued to sing softly. That’s where the drums kicked in. A solid beat. Resonating against the rapid one of my heart. The lights went blue. Everything was like it was underwater. For a second it was hard to breathe. I remember then he stepped back in the middle of the song; time slowed. Everything rushed forward when he grabbed the mic and pulled it from the stand. Then Sunggyu did what he does best: he makes people fall in love with him. He did this beautiful held out note with nothing backing him and it was soul shaking. With the mic in his hand he finished off his performance.

And then everything went black.

It was amazing. Just, wow. Thinking back on it now it’s so vivid in my mind. If I shut my eyes I can still see him standing on stage with the cathedral backdrop. Just bathed in reds and blues and white. Completely immersed in his stage. I mean, we all know that I love Infinite. But I really love Sunggyu too. And I tried to be unbiased, I still try to be unbiased, but his stage was by far my favorite of the solo stages.

I'm afraid it didn't otherwise it might have been in much better quality *laugh* It's from my own personal famcam of a bit of Sunggyu's solo stage from One Great Step in LA. And I really mean a bit. That gif is about 4 seconds of a 20 second video ; 3; But I only had one camera and I didn't want to film the whole song because I wanted pictures too. Ugh.
