ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ-- It’s rather amusing how a select group of people can be either so massively ignorant and unwelcoming while another can almost treat even the weirdest of things as just another everyday thing, depending on their surroundings and experiences. Everything is so opposites, so black and white. Yet, he manages to stay where it could be considered the grayest of the spectrum.

       Just another day. Again, reading the local newspaper downtown. Kind of a downer when most news are to him, trivial at most. Someone stole this, another stole that. Celebrities’ lives plastered onto the paper like it was one big truth that influenced everybody’s own lives. Politic drama, when just by reading alone shows how neither of those figures are the saints they try to paint themselves to be while pinning everything wrong ever on adversaries... It’s just the adult political version of kindergarten fights when you think about it. He does feel a pang of empathy with the news of people who have suffered accidents or were put into some kind of harm, though. Those are not trivial.

       But his interest in reading the newest news are far more... shy. He usually checks the business csection for newly opened local stores and shops-- looking for ones that his assigned child could have interest in checking out for supplies. And keep tabs of stores good to keep in mind, like pharmacies.

        ... okay, he does like checking the Horoscope section too, only to mildly entertain himself.

       Huh, that last bit makes his system shift thoughts to his special one, absentmindedly feeling the spot inside his mechanical body where his heartlocket is secured. He doesn’t want to take anything to the ‘next level’ though. Things are perfect as they are. Why is there always this perverted mentality to fix what’s not even broken?

       Ah, he digresses. Not he like he lives by his horoscope, but it’s nice to see that his is by most part positive. The mechanical bear continues reading his newspaper in silence, staying in the shadows as not to draw attention to himself. The shadows can be your friend if you use them wisely. And well, a 7′10′’ ft mechanical bear is not the type of thing you see on a everyday basis. Sure, he could be taken as one of those kid-friendly restaurants’ employee in a mascot suit during their break but still...

       Pinpricks of light for eyes in a dark void of empty sockets shift from the paper in his big padded hands to what appears to be a museum across where he’s placed, but he only acknowledges it for a moment. It seems to have quite the crowd today-- probably it’s got some new attraction. But his attention is soon back where it was.
