"Dante," the girl spoke softly, sitting in a chair a good ten feet away from him. Fine legs crossed over one another, hands folded neatly on her clipboard. She leaned over slightly, giving him a sympathetic look. "How are you today?"
"… …" He didn’t bother to say anything, sitting on the edge of his bed. A straitjacket on his body. Because of his strength, they added chains as a precaution; which were attached to the wall so he wouldn’t go any further than he was supposed to.
The last time anyone visited him, he gave the doctor a good punch in the jaw and almost choked them to death. He was absolutely infuriated and still is. Why won’t anyone believe him?
Slowly, he lifted his head, glaring at him with cold, steel grey eyes. "… Fine.” He hissed.
A pen across the clipboard indicated she checked off something on the list. “And has this medicine helped you any with the hallucinations?”
He gritted his teeth, thrashing some in his jacket. "No! I keep fucking tell you they’re real! They fuckin’ laugh at me because I can’t fight back! Get me out of his goddamned thing so I can kill them!" He yelled, clenching his fists as he continued to try and pull his arms free. "Don’t you fuckin’ understand?!"
Natalia didn’t seem phased. If anything, she has grown used to his hysterics, and constant proclaims of demons. "… We need to put you on a stronger dose," she murmured, checking off a couple more things. She exhaled a low sigh as she folded her hands again.
Oh the looks of pity. How he loathed it.
Her voice was in a low whisper. “… Honey, there are no such things as—”
"Yes there is! I’m not fucking crazy!" Dante growled, suddenly standing up.
"And what do they do? What do they look like?" Natalia asked calmly.
His breathing was fast, trying to calm himself down. Hair fell over his eyes as he squeezed them shut. No, don’t make him think about it. Don’t make him go back. Letting himself calm down, he sat back down, looking right at the floor. "You have this one asshole that looks like a ninja… That same fucking disgusting look. He never stops fucking smiling. It’s so annoying to look at. Then there’s these flying fuckers… And then… This jackass with saws for hands. They taunt me every single fuckin’ night. I go through hell with these douchefucks.” A pause. “Of course, you wouldn’t fucking know!”
The girl pursed her lips in thought. Ah, so that’s why there was reported screaming coming from his chamber. Swallowing, she gave him a small smile. "We’re here to help you, Dante," with that she stood right up, brushing out her lab coat and dress. "We’re going to schedule you a stronger dose on your medications, along with more therapy every week."
Nat started to walk to the door now, giving it a nice knock before it opened. "I’ll come by next week to see your process. Have a nice day." Then she left, closing the door firmly.
"You fucking bitch! They’re real!” There were loud noises coming from his chamber. And then silence.
