          Syllables of his name leaving her tongue cause azure irises to lift from almost rhythmic scratching of pen upon paper, assignment given mere hours ago already almost at completion. “Hmm?” Gentle smile falters ever so slightly as nervous behavior is taken note of, worry itching shallow lines between his brow as writing utensil is quietly placed to rest.

" I may be a mere human , but I assure you that I can handle things ... rough . " She whispers in his ear , her lips grazing against the lobe .

        She  was  standing  before  the  very  creation  of  EVIL  and  yet  she  was  throwing herself  at  his  feet .  She  was  virtually  powerless  against  him ,  and  yet  she  didn’t  talk  like it .  Proving  to  him  she  was  more  capable  to  handle  whatever  he  could  or  wanted  to throw  her  way . 

       A  grin  snaked  its  way  across  his  features  as  a  gloved  hand  moved  to  gently  caress along  her  neck .  His  crimson  gaze  latched  onto  hers ,  a  flicker  of  malicious  intent  before  griping  her  neck  tightly ,  but  not  nearly  enough  to  stop  her  breathing .  ❛  Are  you sure  you’re  up  to  the  challenge ?  ❜
