"Oh .." That's embarrassing, she almost says, but stops herself from voicing it, instead allowing her expression to turn from uncertainty into a smile. "Hi, handsome." She settles, neatly on, instead. "You're not here to enact a dangerous, diabolical plan, are you? It'd be so very inconvenient if you were."

For once, he's actually behaving (at least to a certain degree know of the Master.) He's found himself a wonderful little book to read while plotting away his next course of action. However, a sudden ghost of the past comes to haunt him...making him pause in his tracks, eyes squinting before realizing what is happening. A familiar connection through the psychic link. "Oh...it's you. The uh---" he snaps his fingers, it's starting to come back to him. "The slimy little worm! Or was it a paramedic? If you're here...then that means trouble's just around the corner. Oh...this is going to be lovely! How have you been?"

" Oh, honey." There's a tut, voice holding the tone and tenor of a kindergarten teacher, " Still with the sunglasses indoors? The nineties called, it says those weren't cool then, either."

"i fail to see how it was all for me. what? you did this as a challenge, for me? to STRETCH my capasity for heroism and problem solving?" a scoff. "i think you just like to hear yourself talk."

"Ah, yes. Back when everything seemed so simple too. It was just you and I and one shared goal-- to see the stars together." The Doctor pauses, remembering it all fondly with a nostalgic look. However, it was soon replaced by a sad and melancholy one. Despite everything, he did miss his friend. "But it was all quickly forgotten. You went your way. I went mine. And look at where we are now."

And that is most certainly one way to shut him up.

"Hey-- HEY. Fly off the handle in your own time, yeah?"

"Oi -- it's MY blanket. If you wanted one, you should've got your own. Like the strong, independent RESOURCEFUL Master you are."
