1 - Talk about the first time you watched your favourite movieMy favourite movie is "Trollhunter", which is Swedish, I think? My partner, his twin and I wanted to watch a bad movie on a Saturday night, kind of thing, and thought it would be a laugh, and ended up being totally enthralled by the movie. Its storytelling, its narration style, the special effects - they're all amazing.
11 - Talk about the best dream you hadThis is an interesting little note about me - I hate dreams and dreaming. I find my dreams shift too fast, or melt, or flip, and there's nothing to hang on to. Sometimes I just dream in images, with no sound, or just have auditory dreams, and everything is black. There's not even enough plot or narration to tell them to others once I wake up, and I've never really understood why people like to talk about theirs.
38 - Talk about songs that remind you of other people.Songs are big memory triggers for me. Both Panic! At the Disco's albums send me right back to my middle school age, singing lyrics with my art friend while we tried to avoid the ball in gym class. "Your Rocky Spine" by The Great Lake Swimmers builds mountains in my head, surrounding a lake and a trail that brought me to meet my partner. Vampire Weekend's "Diplomat's Son" plays and I am just graduated, bombing down old country roads under a hot, lazy sun with my high school friends, windows of our old, rattly cars open, arms surfing the wind.
