I'm avoiding homework like the plague and would rather write out some things, work it through with myself, and share. And I want to say that relationships scare the hell out of me. Not because I find girls to be intimidating, or that affection scares me. The scary thing is at age 22, I have already spent +20% of my life in committed relationships, one lasted 1.5 years and the other 3 years. And I really have nothing to show for it. A couple photos with some memories attached, a few stories, and that's it. All of the conversations, the late night moments dancing and making cookies in the kitchen, the beach days, the sleepovers, the picnics, sporting events, and full days spent together at college are gone. And that's it. 

Now I'm not wallowing in self pity, or looking for handouts, although I can see the tone in the paragraph above. I guess I am here to tell you, to reassure you, that relationships scare a lot of people. And that you're not alone. Because you will either be with that person the rest of your life, or you will most likely end up hating them. 

And if you can see yourself with them for the rest of your living, breathing, loving days, tell them and watch the effect it has.
