well, no, not really, the concept is rather abstract and unclear to me. what are soul mates? people who understand each other good, sometimes so much that they can finish each others sentences? that’s got nothing to do with soul mates, in my opinion, that has to do with how well you know someone. soul mate seems like a cheesy explanation for “super extra deep affection & understanding”. But I’m also sure that my opinion is influenced by my own experience; and I do not have anyone in my life who gets me as much as soul mates are described to do.

I don’t think that I have a favorite quote; I don’t even know any quote I could write down rn without looking it up.

hahaha no. He still makes two plates of food and two cups of coffee. He still makes Nix' favourite food.He has to stop sometimes, because he'll still turn to the side and start to say "Hey, N-!" and have to stop.
he makes Nix’s cup first and they drink it differently, and he doesn’t want to drink it but he can’t spill it out into the sink and he just wants to throw the mug against the wall but he can’t do that either
the smell of coffee in the morning is starting to become sickening
yOU WANNA GO? imagine him staring into the coffee before he has to close his eyes against the burning, head slipping lower as his hands fist his hair, a physical pain to distract from the emotional as he takes deep gasping breathes.
imagine him doing his morning routine and he still makes breakfast for two and he gets confused when there’s no rumbling coming from the bedroom at the smell of coffee
