Why you never leave your petcock on when you are not riding! !!! The bike I'm working on had a leaking petcock and dirty fuel tank. It drained about a two gallons of gas into the engine. So after the first drain to start out 5 quarts, add three quarts oil leave filter off and start engine see fresh oil out of oil filter mount. Stop enige put on filter and run. About 1 minute shut off engine drain oil and gas about 6 quarts come out. Repeat again 6 quarts again. Repeat and 6 quarts again. Repeat and drained 4 quarts come out, repeat and drained 3 quarts. I think all the gas is out of the engine. Need to get some more oil and finish this bike off.
